Biography:
Angela Finley Covington has worked around food service and cookware all her life.  While in college and afterwards,
she worked at some of Columbia's best restaurants (California Dreaming and Motor Supply).  From 2006 through
2009, she was the Pastry Chef at Terra, perhaps Columbia's finest restaurant.   She has been the cookwares manager
for three kitchen boutiques (The Rolling Pin, The Gourmet Shop and Cucina) and she has owned and operated her
own restaurant.  Her knowledge of food ranges from traditional southern recipes she learned in her mother's kitchen to
exotic dishes from Europe, the Middle East and Asia.  Her travels have allowed her to explore many cuisines,
contributing toward her creative impulses.  She owns hundreds of cookbooks and spends her time reading them like
most people read novels.  She and her husband Michael came up with the name Gourmunchies in 1999 while driving
down the Hana Highway in Maui.  It means "gourmet munchies."
